Jennifer Ruth Russell
I’m an author, spiritual mentor, award-winning songwriter, and podcaster.
For over two decades, I have had the honor of mentoring thousands of clients and students who are navigating the depths of financial lack and heartache. My passion lies in helping them heal their hearts and lives by connecting to the Light of their own Divinity.
As the founder and guiding force behind the Angels of Abundance Ascension Academy, I have created a sacred space of love where students initiate transformative journeys of self-discovery. Through my stewardship, they reshape their connection with wealth and abundance, embracing the teachings of the Angels and Masters. Rooted in the new Aquarian Age, our work together is marked by cosmic collaboration and co-creation, empowering students to evolve into intuitive guides and creators of their own prosperity.
My intimate partnership with Mother Mary has expanded into six books, including *21 Days to Abundance through the Immaculate Heart of Mother Mary* and *How to Create with Mother Mary & Friends: 21 Lessons to Activate Your Creative Magnificence*. These works are a testament to the deep, ongoing relationship I cherish with the Divine Feminine.
Through my Morning Light Meditations podcast, which has attracted over 150,000 downloads, I offer listeners a daily opportunity to tap into their innate superpowers and connect with the wellspring of life itself. The podcast is a collective exploration of setting the tone for each day, integrating guided meditations and original music that reflect my unique talents.
I received my spiritual training under the esteemed guidance of Michael Bernard Beckwith at the Agape International Spiritual Center. My life vision is dedicated to uplifting and empowering Lightworkers, enabling them to live abundantly and make a difference in the world. Through songs, meditations, and prayers that open the heart, my mission is to help others experience a profound connection with the Angels, enriching their spiritual journey.
That’s why I created the Angels of Abundance Ascension Academy to support you.
Everything I do Begins and Ends With a Song from My Heart
In addition to my spiritual work, songwriting has always been a profound part of my life. I’ve written and recorded 14 CDs, including the award-winning Virtues Songs A-Z for children, reissued as Angel Songs for the Little Ones. My music is designed to guide listeners into the stillness of the soul and the playfulness of the light.
Music has been woven into the fabric of my life from the very beginning. I was born and raised in Ethiopia, where there was little outside entertainment—no TV or radio—so we created our own, and that often meant making music. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of sitting on my mother’s lap, imitating her as she sang the old hymns she cherished.
To further develop my songwriting and keyboard skills, I attended the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles. This incredible experience set the stage for my professional journey, and I began playing in hotels and clubs around the area.
A Duo in Life and Music
It was during this time that I met Michael Gayle. We formed a musical duo, and songwriting quickly became my passion. We performed five nights a week, and I challenged myself to bring a new song to the stage at least once a week. Michael, a talented producer, encouraged me to start recording my songs.
Not only did I fall in love with songwriting and performing—I also fell in love with Michael. He has produced all of my music, and our partnership has been the foundation of my musical journey.
As I delved deeper into my spiritual learning, the songs began to flow more freely. Everything I learned spiritually, I expressed through song, allowing me to embody those teachings fully. My life vision became clear: to uplift, empower, and transform the world with songs and prayers that open the heart.
I continue to create music for children, spiritual communities, and for meditation and yoga practices. Currently, I serve as the Musical Director at Unity of the Midlands in Columbia, South Carolina. And yes ... Michael is the leader of the band.
